3 Phase Controller V0.1
This is a build log of the first version of a 3 phase motor controller. This project marks the first time I'm trying my hand at PCB and power electronics design, so beware of bone-headed design choices. The initial motivation behind this endeavor was simply that I wanted a way to control brushless motors and also wanted to understand how that control was executed. During my internship with Linear Labs , I worked with several commercial 3 phase controllers that were frustrating to use and lacked very simple features that would have been useful for the testing we were doing. Also during this period is when I stumbled upon Ben Katz's blog and had my eyes opened to the possibility of developing a controller that could match the performance of bespoke commercial controllers and that I had complete control over to scale and program as I pleased.
